Research at the University of Huelva is some of the most exciting to be found at any Spanish university, engaging with the business sector in new and creative ways. Special emphasis is placed on science and technology, social science and humanities, and health and human sciences. Research activity is facilitated through funding to individual research groups, post-doctoral grants and a program of incentives for participating in joint initiatives with foreign research groups. There are currently more than 80 research groups at the UHU. The Central Services are divided into five units (samples preparation, X-ray, electron microscopy, chromatography and elemental analysis), whose expertise and cutting-edge technical infrastructures are available to University researchers, external research teams and companies with special research and technological requirements. The University operates its own Research Plan and offers a service for the translation of scientific articles into English.
