Facilities and Services
The Universidad de Huelva offers students and staff a wealth of services to make their time at the University easier and more enjoyable. The University Community Assistance Service (SACU) distributes information on entrance examinations, general academic procedures, grants and awards announcements, workshops, courses, seminars and a range of University activities, as well as providing guidance on academic, social and psychological matters (information for students with disabilities and international students, a volunteer service, and advice on finding accommodation). Every campus has an enquiries and information office. The Academic Management Service handles all academic procedures, including entrance examinations, grants, UHU-endorsed degrees and all other procedures through to graduation. The University Library manages the extensive collection of bibliographic resources that support the work of students, teaching staff and researchers, and the Galileo Galilei Classroom Block provides study rooms that can be used 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the academic year. UHU integrates new technologies into daily student life: all campuses have full WiFi coverage, many administrative services are now available online, over 8,000 students regularly access the virtual campus to monitor their studies, and laptop computers are available for student use in the UHU libraries.
