Requirements
- Only students who have completed at least 1 semester of university studies will be considered for this economic aid. During the trip, the students must be accompanied by a professor, who will also be responsible for turning in the application form to the DAAD. The groups must consist of at least 5 and at most 15 students. The trips must have academic purposes. The trip can take the students to multiple destinations in the chosen country or can take place within a single foreign university, with the goal of carrying out seminars, workshops or other joint projects (studienpraktika). The objective of this program is to establish or maintain relations with universities (professors and students) of the foreign country. The DAAD highly encourages reciprocal trips by students from the foreign university, for example, through the DAAD's analagous program for international students group trips to Germany, although this is not required to obtain the subsidy.
